2012-11-18-1030 Pastor Loran Livingston is the speaker this
morning November 18th 2012 in the 10:30 service.
Scripture: Psalm 38:1-2, 6, 8, 10; I Peter 4:12; II Samuel 24:14; I
Corinthians 2:9; Isaiah 40:28-31
Topic: Mercy
Notes:
- There is a spirit of discouragement common to the elect... we
often think it is the Lord chastening when it is an attack of the
devil
- Don’t ever think the Lord has abandoned you
- You cannot win this battle with your mind; it can only be dealt
with in the spirit... in a quiet place the Holy Ghost can give you
peace
- Sometimes you don’t feel like praying, dread it, but prayer is
not a task... it’s okay to just sit and be quiet before God, let
Him pull you up into His lap, sometimes even fall asleep in the
rest He gives
- Praying through? You’re already through... and you already
have victory
- He is with you; He is not surprised, overwhelmed or frustrated
with you
- We enter prayer thinking God is upset with us but God has great
mercy
- God gives strength to those with no might
- Jesus is making intercession for us with the Father
