Dec 31, 2012

2012-12-30-0830 Pastor Loran Livingston is the speaker this morning December 30th 2012 in the 8:30 service.

Scripture: I Peter 5:10-11; Acts 9; Hebrews 5:7-9

Topic: Suffering

Notes:
- This is a Judeo-Christian faith
- Saul asked “Lord, who are you?”  We must ask continually, as He will continue to reveal Himself to us
- Then Saul asked “What do you want me to do?”
- Saul was chosen to suffer; God chooses and has a plan for each; you can’t stop it
- If you do not suffer with Him, you will not reign with Him
- God will choose everything you don’t expect to work stuff out of you
- Faith is not about getting something, but about being
- There is never a time in a Christian’s life that he can be settled, calm, relaxed
- Railroad spike... heat applied, hammered into a blade
- Jesus had to be perfected through suffering
- Do you want to be delivered or developed
- The more you suffer for Christ and see His faithfulness, the more fixed on Him you become, the more settled you become
