Scripture: Nehemiah 8:1-8

Topic: Law

Notes:
- Change is coming. Sometimes dirt is a spiritual issue.
- Are we in spiritual darkness?
- Have our lives gone away from God to please our neighbors.
- God looks at the heart.
- Nehemiah was wine steward. Nehemiah was called by God to go back to
Jerusalem and rebuild its walls and to start a fire of passion for God back where it had winged and gone out.
- Nehemiah 2-3-4-5 he begins to do what God put in his heart.
- The enemy wakes up. He gives him personal temptation. Chapter 7 walls are done.
- Nehemiah is about building walls. How the people that God intending them to be.
- It is not for you to know people who know God, or his world. You need to be empowered and know God and his word.
- God is using our circumstances to change us. Revival starts when there is a hunger for God.
- The problem is we live in a prosperous society where I can fill up without God; walking around like I don’t God and God will not walk into a room where he is not asked.
- If you don’t know the author, then the words on the pages are flat.
- God will help you understand his word. See the word of God comes real as you read.
- We need to be hungry for God: bless God, Holy, Holy, Holy is God
