- Pride has a subtle, scheming way of entering our walk with God
- God resists the proud; pride comes before a fall
- The American church teaches people to have pride
- After we’ve done all we are to do, we've done only our basic duty... we are unprofitable servants
- We're never made worthy by what we do; cannot be our own priest
- Come boldly with confidence in Jesus, not in ourselves
- We cannot do all we're supposed to; need Jesus to represent us
- We need brokenness, humility, repentance
- Remember what He's done for us, not what we've done for Him
